What size is the room has to be for a tv room with a pool table. ?
I thinking of adding a room to my house but don’t know what size? I want to have enough room to add a standard pool table , sectional sofa, and a big lcd tv to the room. Basically another living room or media room what ever you call it, Some please tell me if 20×20 is enough or show me a layout w/size of the room ideas.
Depends on what you mean by a “standard” pool table. A regulation pool table is 4.5 x 9. If you use 57″ cues you need a minimum of 14′ 10″ by 19′ to play comfortably. For your planned use I would say you need a bigger room. You could get a smaller bar sized table. They come in a number of sizes and you can save a few feet. You could also play with smaller cues. When planning your room you need to consider the size of the TV you want, optimum viewing distance, space for people to walk around the table, alternate seating locations, etc.
