How does the white ball end up being able to come out of pool tables?

1) The cue ball on some tables is slightly larger than the object balls. Allowing it to bypass the track that the object balls fall into.
2) The cue ball on ther tables have a piece of metal inside them, so when they enter the track just before where the object balls fall, a magnet deflects the cue ball down its track.
