Looking to buy a pool table for my condo apartment.
Should I buy new or used? Used cheaper but table shape and installation scare me.

New is generally better. Yes, used can be cheaper, but keep in mind you’ll pretty much have to replace the cloth which will cost at least a couple hundred dollars, and if the table is very old you may need to replace the cushions as well, which is another few hundred dollars. If you don’t know what you’re doing, you may need to have someone else move and setup the table, which will cost another few hundred dollars. So now you’re talking $800-$1000 in costs on top of the cost of a table for something with no warranty. Sure, you could go cheap and not replace anything, and set it up yourself, but if you’re serious about the game you may be disappointed with the results. If you buy a new table, you’ll know exactly what you’re getting, and if anything goes wrong in delivery or setup, you’re not responsible for fixing it. The extra money you might spend going new is well worth the piece of mind and warranty, in my opinion.
