Pool Table Tournament Size

how big is the normal size of a pool table pocket in regular tournaments?

coz i just played in this table in a tournament, and the pockets are tight as hell, is that a normal pocket for tournaments?

The size of the pockets is really up to the discretion of whomever is hosting the tournament. For a tournament to be sanctioned by a particular governing body, such as the WPA, there are specific ranges for pocket openings. Corner pockets are 4 3/4″ +/- .1/4″ and side pockets are 5″ +/- 1/4″ if memory serves. It varies greatly from tournament to tournament. I can’t say that there’s a “normal” sized pocket.
