Pool Table Sizes Rails

Pool table rails, k66, k55, u23… which do I need?

I just got my hands on a Valley pool table and got a really good deal on it. It needs to be recovered with new felt and new rubber bumpers though and I don’t know how to figure out what size I need. If it helps, the table is about 20 years old and is coin operated. I’ve disabled this, but read somewhere that coin operated tables are sometimes a different size from home tables, which from what I’ve read are usually k66.

How do I find out what size rails my table has?
Thanks for the reply, but I’ve been searching and the rail sizes I posted do not reflect length and width of the table. it’s the vertical height of the rails where they attach to the table.

The best way to determine the size of a used pool table is to actually measure the inside playing area. The two most common sizes are a 44″x88″ playing surface for a 4′x8′ table and 50″x100″ playing surface for a 4½’x 9′ table. Be very careful if the table measures anything else since you may be looking at a 3½’x 7′, a 4′x8′ oversize or even a 5′x10′ table. Make sure you are not measuring the outside of the table since it does not indicate the playing surface –

Rail widths can vary in size. Measure the inside where the ball comes to rest against the cushion.
