Can Someone Reccomend a Bar in Melbourne?
Bar…definately not a club (and yes there is a difference). Somewhere where the music isn’t too loud (so you can still have a conversation), the crowd is more mature (around late twenties) or abit arty that serves good drinks and nibblies and offers other entertainment besides getting drunk (ie live bands, pool tables, arcade games ect).
Prefferably near Altona but anywhere in Melbourne is acceptable.
Maybe even a link to a website would be great too….just trying to find a decent place to go on a saturday night where I won’t feel like I constantly have to watch out for idiots and teeny boppers.
There is a top bar/restaurant called Automatic. Its located on the Yarra and also joins the casino. Not sure about the entertainment there but the food and service is 10/10. The staff are a “funky” but down to earth type. All very profesional. I often travel from ballarat just to have dinner there. Its a great place to have a few drinks and un-wind. And in the nicer weather, u cant beat eating/drinking outside. Its a very relaxed place to go. The best in Melb CBD for sure
