looking for size of space needed for neighborhood bar.?
I’m trying to figure out how much space would be needed for a small neighborhood bar. Please assume the following: 45 ft U-shaped bar, 3 pool tables, 2 darts boards, shuffleboard table, 10 36-inch round tables seating 4 chairs at each table, various video games, an office (10X12), a storage room (large enough for inventory and whatever else might need to be stored), and bathrooms (a mens room and a womens room both 12X12 each). Please allow for enough room for a keraoke area but no dance floor. Also, please mention if your estimate is a minimum and the place will be cramped, or if you are allowing room for walkways and whatnot so the place will not be cramped. Thank you.

Based on your description, I personally think you need at least 4500 sq. ft. for the whole place including the bathrooms, kitchen, bar, storage and enough room to walkaround. You could go smaller, but I think it would look cramped.
