Pool tables?! uhhhhhhhhhhhhh?

So, I am in college and I live in the basement of a residence hall -__- I know its bad. well anyway the floor above me is a lounge and in it is the pool table. They recently fixed the pool table and now it is really really really loud! I mean cant get to sleep even with ear plugs and headphones on. I do not know what to do. I spoke with my residence hall director and the head person on my floor and both basically told me to “deal with it” or “get used to it” but i cant sleep! I have gotten 5 hours the last two days because they play pool all night long. What can I do? I recently bought a pair of Peltor 97069 President Hearing Protectors that people wear when using large machines or lawn mowers and stuff. Will these work?
Real answers please, not mean ones.
Oh! and i also asked the people playing pool to keep it down but they really cannot help it because its the pool table itself thats making noise not them.
My question is… how do i get rid of this noise?
Is there away to move out of there if so do that, I don’t think they should have told you to “deal with it”
that’s a poor thing to say to you.
Is there anyone else higher up then the residence hall director if so ask them to come to where you live ask them to come over around the time they are starting to play pool.
