Do you like my plans for my fiances 29th Birthday?
I am 23 and my fiance is turning 29 on Friday. He gets off work at 3pm. I wanted to make a nice steak, potatoes and taboulleh (his Favorite!) and take it in a picnic basket to the community pool area. I wanted to lay a nice tablecloth on the table and have it with wine. The pool is by the lake and its beautiful. I wanted us to share dinner by the sunset and bring over his 7 year old daughter. I think that would be special to share his birthday with both of us. To top it off, I will have a homemade cake too. I also want to present to him a card at dinner.
Then we drop off his daughter and go out on the town for a movie or something.
What do you think of this and do you have any suggestions for the dinner and/or after we drop off his daughter?
Also, should I tell him about this in advance or on Friday to bring his daughter?
