Anyone know the location of a whacky shack or funny house in the eastern part of U.S.?
When I was a kid, there were times when my family would see what was called a funny house or whacky shack, typically at amusement parks. These were little houses built so that it looked as if the interior of the house defied gravity. I specifically remember one that had a pool table on which the balls rolled uphill (or so it appeared.) There was another one in which water appeared to be running upward rather than downward.
I would love to find one of these for my kids to visit. I know that they would enjoy it. I’ve looked online to try and locate one, and have not been able to. My husband recalls that there used to be one at Maggie Valley, NC, but I’ve researched that as well, and cannot find it anymore.
Does anyone know of one anywhere in the eastern part of the U.S.? We live in the SE and I’d be willing to travel a little.
