How are Poison pool Cues?
I am wanting to buy a new pool cue, and have been looking at poison cues. I am wondering if anyone here has used one and their thoughts? How do they compare to a Viking cue, the other company I am looking at?

It’s difficult to answer because Poison has only been in the market for a couple years. However, they are essentially the entry model line of Predator cues, so I’m sure they build in a lot of the technology Predator has developed over the years and they’re essentially running off of Predator’s reputation.
Viking has been making cues for a while and are a solid production cue company (like McDermott, Lucasi, et al). They tend more to flood the market with lots of models. Only recently have McDermott and Lucasi started marketing technology. I don’t think Viking has even started that though.
So if you’re in to technology and marketing, Poison’s a good choice. If you just want a regular cue, Viking’s just as solid. At the end of the day though, the cue stick isn’t pocketing balls for you.
