Pool-related book (non-fiction)?
Not including fictional novels and biographies, what would you want to read about in a pool-related book? Do you like to read general instruction books, history of pool, specific instruction (how to bank, jump, tip a cue, the mental game, etc.)? I guess my main question is, if you walked into your local library or Barnes & Noble, what would catch your eye and make you select a particular book related to pool? With my library, it seems like the first thing I always have to ask is, do I own this one already? What is something you’ve never seen before but would like covered in a book? M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.
Wouldn’t mind seeing a book about pool halls. Not all of the pool halls of course, a lot of them don’t make it and are gone after a year or two. Just the well known established ones. All of the geographical info and plenty of pictures would be cool. I’ll probably never get to see a lot of them any other way so it would be real interesting to me. They could include a section about famous halls from the past and what players haunted what places.
