Is it possible to “dryclean” 860 count simonis without shrinkage? ?

I am moving a pool table to my new home. I am getting new rubber bumpers. The fairly unused midnight blue simoniz 860 must be new on the bumpers. Getting new wool on the table will be $400 extra. I can keep my older (but barely used) wool to save $$$. I can shake a little chalk out of it, but I wonder if it will shrink if I get it drycleaned.
Have you done it?

Possible to dry-clean your Simonis cloth? Sure.
Possible to dry clean Simonis cloth without shrinkage? Maybe.
Would I recommend Dry cleaning Simonis cloth at all? Absolutely NOT!

I highly discourage even attempting this process! Dry-cleaning is NOT a dry process by any means. Dry cleaning also adds chemicals that may ruin or permanently damage your Simonis cloth.

EVERY single link that I have researched regarding your question, insists on David Hodges’ “Quick Clean” Pool Table Cleaner for cleaning Simonis 760 and 860 cloth. This product is used by the BCA for all professional tournament tables. This cleaner IS a REAL dry-clean product and process, unlike conventional dry cleaning that you are referring to. You can also lighty vacuum your Simonis cloth (according to “Ask Ray” from the APA). Every other site says that vacuuming is unnecessary, and prefers David Hodges’ “Quick Clean”.

I have NEVER heard of dry cleaning Simonis cloth. I’ve seen the cloth cleaned ON pool tables, but never removed and cleaned. I wouldn’t chance it. I found NOTHING in my research about Simonis cloth that even suggests or discusses dry cleaning this fine fabric.
