Best Pool Cue Stick under $100- $200?
Hey!
I just joined a pool league and I’m looking into buying my own pool cue. The pool halls where i play sell some nice ones, but I am clueless about brands or weights or what i should look for in the cue stick.
Can anyone recommended a good brand or what I should look for. I’m not against buying second hand (like via eBay) if I knew the brand was good. (Also is this good logic?)
And if possibly I’d like to spend between $100 – $200 (Although cheaper is better if the quality is there!)
Extra Note: I’m female, but not so dainty, yet I assume that matters when dealing with cue stick weight!

The best way to find a cue that is right for you is go and try them. Ask the hall owner to let you hit some balls with one that you like. Ask what the weight is, and then if you feel like you need to go lighter or heavier tell them. If you find a cue that you like, but it is a bit to light or heavy ask them to change the weight bolt to your desired weight. If they can’t. Find out the model and go to the website and order it the weight you like.
Typically Viking and McDermott are decent in that price range. Do not buy a new cue for under $100!!
If you are looking for a used cue on that range on ebay or azbilliards. I have a preferance to Jacoby and Pechauer cues.
